This necklace features a vintage skeleton key on a 2.4 mm antique brass ball chain measuring 24 inches in length. The iron keys measure approximately 3 inches in length.
The keys used in this necklace have been repurposed from authentic vintage pieces dating from the late 18th to 19th centuries, primarily of European origin as evidenced by their designs. Two-blade key styles date to the late 19th or early 20th century and were originally trunk keys for more modern locks. Over the years, a small collection of these vintage keys was assembled and are now beautifully crafted into necklaces suitable for both men and women.
