Yvette Jones is a leader in independent jewelry design. She is an accomplished visual artist, educator and arts programmer. She earned a MA in Visual Arts Administration at New York University and BS in Art Education at Long Island University.
CHIC DESIGNS was launched after receiving great encouragement from numerous people who had fallen in love with her jewelry and had become her patrons. Yvette Jones designs have been featured in several publications including Westchester Magazine, WAG Magazine, The World Jewelry Review Magazine, Accessories Magazine, Launch PadMagazine and UpScale Magazine. Her work has also been featured at various boutiques and events including the 2013 Miss New York USA and Miss New York Teen USA Pageant, where she was also a sponsor. Yvette has donated jewelry to various charities and organizations that include The American Heart Association, Arts Westchester Gala, and Designers4Africa.org.
Personal Statement
Inspired by notions of beauty, spirituality and her environment. Yvette approaches her design aesthetic as an artist who explores her art-making process. Her designs are a reflection of her background in the fine arts realm, uniting her vibrant stones with the infinite potential of line, color, form, and pattern, creating versatile and dynamic jewelry that remains relevant beyond contemporary trends. Yvette's meditative selection of materials reflects her belief in the transcendental power of stones and their spiritual ability to connect individuals across cultures.Sparking swarovski, precoisa cal crystals, rhinestones, and colored gemstones make up her assemblage. Her unique collection of necklaces, rings, bracelets and earrings encourage personal style and fashion forward statements that foster elegance, vibrancy and versatility.
Yvette’s jewelry collections include necklaces, bracelets, earrings, hair accessories, and bridal jewelry, among others.
